Calendar Arrives A Bit Late
Uh, yeah…..The Scranton PA Times-Tribune just received their calendar from the Pennsylvania Railroad. The only problem is it’s their calendar from 1950. A mail carrier delivered a tube containing a Pennsylvania Railroad calendar 63 years late. The tube was addressed to the former GM of the newspaper (I assume he’s no longer with us). A U.S. Postal Service spokesman says lost mail is sometimes found when a machine is dismantled or office space is renovated. I think they should just hang onto it because eventually it will be accurate again in some upcoming year, right? DB
