As the father of a fallen Marine, this story touched me deeply and I'd like to share it with you. Cody Green successfully battled leukemia since he was 22 months old. He always admired the strength and courage of the Marines, according to his father. The Marines decided that Cody showed "strength and honor and courage" through his health battles and made him an honorary member, giving him navigator wings. However, for one Marine that wasn't enough, and he stood guard at his hospital door in Florida, Indiana for eight hours straight. You see, Cody had succesfully battled the cancer three times and was cancer free. But the chemotherapy had lowered his immune system and a fungus attacked his brain.

Honorary Marine Cody Green was 12.  God bless you, Cody. Plesae say hello to LCpl Andrew Bedard up there for me.
