Boy Calls 911 to Protest Bedtime

Yeah, I never wanted to go to bed either when mom and dad wanted me to, but I never bothered emergency services. Ten year old kid in Massachusetts called 911 the other night because he didn't want to go to bed! He told the dispatcher he was reporting his mother. NO emergency of course. According to the police log an officer went to the boy's home and explained to him when it is appropriate to call 911, which of course does not include being mad at mom over bedtime. No charges were filed. I guess it's worth a few taxpayer bucks if the kid learned a lesson, huh? DB
