Missoula police told KGVO News that a bomb threat was reported at a suite of offices on Palmer Street at about 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Sergeant James Caton said the street was closed and the building was evacuated.

"An employee from a business in the building from a certain individual who said he needed everyone to evacuate the building because there was going to be a bomb within five minutes," Caton said. "That employee called 9-1-1 and we responded a short time later. As a precaution, we blocked off the parking lot, and called the University of Montana for their two bomb sniffing dogs. The dogs went through two floors on the building as we as the exterior and the dogs did not alert on anything suspicious."

Caton said the entire incident lasted about an hour and a half, and that no one was injured. He said the bomb threat is still under investigation.
