Thirty seconds. That's all that Blake Shelton and friends needed to sell out their upcoming 'Healing in the Heartland' benefit show, which was designed to help the victims of the tornado that ripped through Shelton's native Oklahoma on Monday, May 20.

Shelton announced plans to do a benefit gig on Tuesday, May 21. By Friday, May 24, the details were announced. Then today, Saturday, May 25, it sold out in half-a-minute.

Shelton and organizers didn't waste any time rushing to the aid of the people who need it desperately. It's a true testament to what the human spirit is capable of when it bands together with focus and a goal.

Shelton's friend and fellow Oklahoman Reba McEntire, who will perform at the event, tweeted the good news that the show had sold out. She posted: "The "Healing in the Heartland" benefit concert sold out in 30 seconds! Way to go Okies!!!! Thanks for everyone's support!!"

The concert will be broadcast live on 94.9 KYSS FM Wednesday, May 29 at 7PM, so be sure to tune in and be entertained and to do what you can to help the victims. It will also air on NBC TV.  Shelton's wife and transplanted Okie Miranda Lambert and Vince Gill, another native Oklahoman, are also scheduled to participate.
