Blackfoot River Improvements

The Montana Fish,Wildlife, and Parks Department has started work on the Bonner Weigh Station fishing access point on the Blackfoot River. The project includes; better road access, a parking area, a concrete boat ramp and latrine. the project should  be done in 60 days, just in time for fishing and rafting season.Since there will be work crews and equipment in the area FWP advises recreationists try not to use the access point.Wisherd Bridge about five miles upstream is the next closest boat trailer access point.
