Word has it that this happened Tuesday out on the Blackfoot River. Excavators were working on clearing out remnants of the old mill in Bonner, including the bridge abutments and surrounding rubble. Two machines were working in the area. One of them somehow slipped off the berm it was working on top of and ended up the water. The operator kept a cool head while the second machine operator came to his rescue building a temporary ramp. The partially submerged machine crawled his way to safety.  Job well done!
