First fish for Billy's wife Savannah on a fly rod! First fish stories...when/where were you when you caught your first fish?

I am trying to think of my first fish I caught...think I was around 10 or 11 and went on  camping trip in Wyoming or South Dakota ( can't remember) with my sister, her dad and family. We used string and sticks, and actually caught like 4 fish! We found this old bucket that had the bottom out of it and put it on the bank of the lake and then mys sister dad came and picked up the bucket to look at the fish and not knowing there was no bottom, they all swam away. Still caught them though, with string and a stick and a worm if I remember correctly! Cave man fishing right there.
