As my General Manager reminds us around the radio stations, "We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time." That is exactly how I would describe my last seven years in Missoula.

In March of 2011 my girlfriend Savannah and I moved to Missoula hoping that this would springboard my career, and help us further our relationship. Both of those things have happened. Since being in Montana I was given the opportunity to be the Operations Manager of 7 radio stations and work with the very best radio personalities in the state. And, in November of 2012 Savannah and I got engaged, married in August of 2013.

Moving to Missoula was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Savannah and I while living here added two rescue dogs to our family (Koda and Gypsy), and you have been along for the ride listening as I tell you about our life through the radio. I cannot thank you enough for supporting me through everything as a listener.

Throughout my seven years on the radio in Missoula, the one day that I always looked forward to was KYSSMAS For Kids. Last year Charene, Denny and I along with lots of helpers raised over $40,000 in one day for kids who would otherwise go without for the holidays. Doing things like that, helping my community, those are the things that I truly enjoy most about my job. Really, it's not about meeting musicians and going to concerts, it's about helping people.

I feel like I am rambling, and all over the place while writing this. It's difficult for me to even say these things, I like to be stronger than this. But with you, who has been there for me, I simply want to say thank you.

In the coming days Charene and I will be able to announce where we are going, as we are moving as a team. And rest assured we will continue to support each other. But please, if you can make it to the Billy and Charene Bash on Friday at the Sunrise Saloon from 7-10pm I would sure appreciate it. Please know I will be bouncing around to many tables seeing as many friends as possible but I would love to give you a hug before I depart.

And remember I will still be on the radio in Missoula as I stay on 107.5 ZOO FM from 10am-2pm daily and continue to bring you stories of my life, and talk about things going on in Missoula. Lastly, if we aren't friends on Facebook, connect with me here.
