Missoula is a bike riding town. But don't go down to your favorite bike shop for a flying one just yet. According to Associated Press, three Czech companies have built a prototype of an electric bicycle that took flight in an exhibition hall in Prague and landed safely after a remote-controlled, five-minute flight. It looks like a bulky mountain bike (weighs over 200 pounds) and has propellers in the front, rear and on the sides. During its test flight there was a dummy in the saddle. At this point the companies working on it say it will take much stronger batteries before a human could take flight. Well, good luck Wilbur and Orville Schwinn! DB
