Have you ever noticed how different animals eat? It’s interesting if you think about it. For example, a cow simply plants its face in its food and chews away. How about an alligator? What do you think it’s like when an alligator opens its big jaws and just chomps away? That must make quite a mess. How about a lizard? It slithers along and then suddenly attacks its prey.

What about animals we’ve never actually seen in real life? Ones that are extinct? I’m sure you could imagine how a T-rex would eat with his little tiny baby arms.

What about a whale? I’m sure he would make quite a splash. Water mammals eat much differently than land mammals do. For instance, groundhogs must come shooting out of their holes so they can surprise their prey before it gets away.

Have you ever wondered how a marsupial must eat? It probably stores snacks in its pouch to enjoy at its leisure. Do you think pink flamingos are delicate peckers, or do you think they come down on their prey like a hammer hitting a nail? Finally, if a rhino is starving, is there anything he won’t trample over that is blocking the path to his dinner?
