Barber Gives Free Haircuts to Kids Who Read

A barber in Iowa pitched in to support his community’s back-to-school festivities recently by giving away free haircuts to kids who would read to him.

Children sat in the chair as Courtney Holmes clipped away at the kids’ hair, giving them a fresh start for the new school year.

And, when children had a hard time pronouncing certain words, Courtney pitched in and helped them sound the words out.
