I guess you could say if any good things came out of the severe snowstorms back east, this is one of them.It helped make catching an armed robber seem like a leisurely walk on a winter's day.

Associated Press tells us that a Dover, Delaware, man was robbed at knifepoint after making an ATM withdrawal. He was able to give police a description. An officer had seen a man running shortly after the robbery that sounded it like it may be the guy. And, thanks to the heavy snow that had been dropped a couple days earlier, they just followed the footsteps right to the front door of a house, arrested the guy who still had a knife in his pocket and charged him with robbery.

Bet he wishes he had taken a long, dry way home. Even tying a rake to his butt probably wouldn't have helped.    DB
