Our friends at Karl Tyler Chevrolet are teaming up with the Child Development Center to focus on autism acceptance, instead of awareness. The 3rd annual Autism Acceptance event is set for First Friday on April 6th from 5 to 8pm. It will be held at the MSO Hub/Bicycle Hanger downtown Missoula.

When dealing with autism, getting help early can help aid in reducing symptoms. The Child Development Center is all about providing education and assistance for families who have a child with autism. Their goal is to create a strong support team for children with autism to help in their development.

This event was created to spread acceptance of autism through providing information, while raising funds for educational toys and materials for children who are part of the CDC autism services. You can expect artwork by the CDC, Big Sky High School students, the University of Montana's MOSAIC Program, and Missoula Family and Friends of Autism, along with T-shirts, raffles, and refreshments.
