Born in Seattle, raised in Montana, I fell in love with radio when I was in high school. Not just radio, but the idea of “being on the radio!” When the college students went home for the summer I got to run the local 10-watt operation on the local campus! Auditions were held and at age 16 I got my own radio show. It was only three hours a week and for no pay, but it was just the experience I needed to get on a local professional station and actually get paid for it! Over the years, radio has shown me the great United States of America, landing jobs from Orlando, Florida, to Wasilla, Alaska, including Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and the legendary W4 Country in Detroit. I love it!

The Dude With The Food: Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers [RECIPE + VIDE0]

My wife found this recipe on tablespoon.com and they turned out great!

We quadrupled this recipe, because 6 poppers...really? LOL

Ingredients

6 Jalapenos seeds and stems removed

3 Ounces Cream Cheese

1 Teaspoon Chili powder

1 Tablespoon Honey

6 Strips Bacon

6 Toothpicks soaked in water

Directions
Soak toothpicks in warm water for at least 30 minutes

Dude With the Food: Most Delicious Turkey Burger I’ve Had! [RECIPE]

My bonus daughter Katie threw delicious turkey burgers together off the top of her head the other night for the grill and they were so good that I wrote down what she did:

2 lbs turkey burger
2 eggs
1 cup bread crumbs, maybe more
splashes of Worcestershire sauce
garlic powder to taste
crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 cup chopped onion
salt & pepper to taste

Mix and mash together, make patties, grill!

They're a little mushy and difficult to work with at the start, but that also means really moist, delicious burgers when finished!
