The elections for Missoula School District 1 came to a close tonight, May 7 with a surprising result — all four incumbents lost their seats on the board of trustees.

Amidst speculations of an arrest of a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing, the Federal Courthouse in south Boston has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.
The fire that burned a portion of the Missoula Senior Center on Friday, April 12, as well as the fire at the Boone and Crockett Club the same day, have been deemed to be caused by arson. The Missoula Police Department is in search of information on the suspect and the people with him, all three of which were captured by surveillance cameras.
Two explosions were seen and heard by spectators and participants at the finish line of today's Boston Marathon. News outlets are reporting a variety of different things in regard to the number of people who have been injured and the severity of the injuries. It has been confirmed that two people are dead and at least 23 are injured.
The 2013 NCAA Championship concluded Monday night (April 8) with a 82-76 victory for the Louisville Cardinals over the Michigan Wolverines. The conclusion of the tournament, also meant the end of our 2013 NCAA Bracket Challenge.
