It would be a sad day if Montana lost its zoo. Lets hope it doesn't come to that.
Representatives from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums are scheduled to visit ZooMontana in Billings on April 21-22 to see if the facility should retain its accreditation.

“Wienermobile” Visits Missoula
The "Wienermobile" was seen in Missoula this weekend at the Super Wal-Mart on Mullan Road. The driver says they are traveling the U.S. for a year with stops in many major cities. They handed out stickers to the little ones and gave mini tours of the interior of the bus.

Athletes Of The Week
The tennis player honored, UM Senior Rebecca Bran says she plans to head back to Australia at the end of the year. Bran and her twin sister, who also plays tennis are part of the exchange program. I've taken a couple of classes with Rebecca and I can say, she is just as dedicated to her studies as she is to tennis.
Missoula 8th Grader Wins State Geography Bee
A Missoula eighth-grader has won the state geography bee and a trip to next month's 2011 National Geographic Bee in Washington, D.C.
Claire Hinther of Target Range School won last weekend's bee in Billings over 95 other fourth- through eighth-graders who competed. Not only is she the state's champ but she is also the 2011 Missoula County Spelling Bee Champ.
