We've already seen our fair share of 'Batman vs. Superman' set photos showing off Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot, but we now have our first look at Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne! And he looks like ... Ben Affleck! With some grey in his hair! Yeah, thats not too surprising. After all, the ruggedly handsome Affleck already looks enough like a playboy millionaire and the little bit of grey just confirms what director Zack Snyder has already said: this will be an older, more tired Batman.
Although director Colin Trevorrow has done an excellent job of keeping us teased for 'Jurassic Park 4' (officially titled 'Jurassic World'), we're still hungry for more. So hungry, in fact, that we'll endure watching the 'Today Show' footage from their set visit to catch even the tiniest glimpse of something new and cool. If you're a real fan, you'll suck it up and do the same.
'Jurassic Park 4' quietly began filming a little over a week ago and the first images from the set have begun to trickle out. Those hoping to catch a glimpse of a T-Rex or a velociraptor will have to wait a little while longer, but there's enough subtle goodness in these three photos to get any fan excited.
All of the trailers for 'Godzilla' have put emphasis on tone, showcasing the aftermath of epic monster rampages and giving us tons of close-ups of people whose days have been pretty much ruined. But this new TV spot does something a little different, selling the human story behind all of the chaos and destruction. Oh, and it does so while offering our best look yet at Godzilla himself.
Few genres are as ripe for parody as sports dramas, and the upcoming 'Intramural' looks like it'll fit the bill quite nicely. The trailer for the small sports comedy made its way online, and if the rest of the film is as weird and funny as these two-and-a-half minutes, it could be something to keep an eye on.
If the main goal of 'Divergent' was to snag a large portion of the audience for 'The Hunger Games,' it looks like it succeeded. Although it didn't reach the absurd heights of Katniss' two movies, Shailene Woodley's dystopian adventure effortlessly nabbed the number one spot and, unless something bad happens next week, announced the arrival of a new big franchise.
Rotten Tomatoes doesn't always provide a perfect look at the world of film criticism, but it does paint a pretty consistent picture of what films are widely loved or widely hated. Any film that reaches 60% positive reviews or higher once they've all been tallied is considered "fresh" and anything under that is "rotten." It's very rare for a movie to reach 100% positive reviews (there's always going to be one hater), but it's just as uncommon for a movie to reach 0% (there's always going to be one stubborn defender).
Luckily, we live in a world were someone goes out of their way to track down and put each of these all-time stinkers on a list for easy referencing.
After seven years of waiting, no one knew if a sequel to '300' would do the business of its predecessor. And now we have a definitive answer: yes. '300: Rise of an Empire' effortlessly took the number one spot at the box office, proving that America still loves shirtless Greeks murdering each other in slow motion.
Did you know that when he's not rampaging through cities and laying waste to the countryside, the legendary beast known as Godzilla is actually a really cool guy who likes to party, hang out with his buddies and play a mean game of ping pong? That's the one joke in a new Snickers ad, but thankfully, it's a very funny one that makes the most of its absurd imagery.
Normally, the Best Short Film awards at the Oscars are a great opportunity to go the kitchen to grab a beer. After all, you probably haven't seen these films and don't have much invested in who's winning or losing (unless you're the gambling type). That changed this year when all of the animated short film and live action short film nominees made their way online, letting anyone watch them for free. But then the animated nominees vanished from YouTube this past week. What happened?
