Sugarland‘s Jennifer Nettles recorded a classic song for a memorable and super funny Pepsi Max commercial. The 30-second commercial will air during the game, but the long-form version is already viewable online.

Garth Brooks was awarded $1 million in his lawsuit against a hospital in his native Oklahoma. The lawsuit came about to due a dispute over a donation in exchange for naming a wing of the facility after his late mother. Even though Brooks likely doesn’t need the money as one of the most successful country stars ever, it was a matter of principle for him — and the jury agreed. The $1 million includes his original donation, plus punitive damages, according to Reuters.
Former ‘American Idol‘ winner Carrie Underwood and current ‘Idol’ judge Steven Tyler will team up yet again. After performing together at the ACMs in April 2011, Underwood and Tyler will give it another go and attempt to recreate their onstage electricity and magic as part of the ‘CMT Crossroads’ series on Super Bowl weekend.
