Delaney and Gee Named To Interim Positions at UM
UM President Dr. Royce Engstrom has announced that former UM associate head coach Mick Delaney will serve as the Grizzlies’ interim head football coach, while Jean Gee has been selected as the school’s interim athletic director.
Delaney recently concluded his fourth season as an assistant coach at Montana and working with the running backs, and was the associate head coach. A veteran mentor, Delaney has been in coaching ranks 44 years, with 29 of them at the collegiate level. Originally from Butte, he came to Montana from Colorado State where he was an assistant coach from 1993-2007.

Should the city of Missoula consider banning cell phone use while driving? At least one councilman seems to think so.
As it stands, texting and driving has been banned, however driving and making a phone call is still allowed. Dave Stromaier of the Missoula City Council is hoping to see to a change in that ruling.

Strange Sounds Over Skies of Missoula, Montana [VIDEO]
Warning: The sounds in this video may be disturbing to some viewers. Reports have been pouring in from all over the world about strange sounds heard in the skies. Some claim that these unusual low-pitch, metallic sounds coming from overhead are “The Sound of The Apocalypse,” while others say it’s the sound of plates below the Earth surface shifting. Whatever these are, my phone was able to pick up “something unexplained” a few blocks off Reserve Street on the north side of Missoula.
