The Sunday after a University of Montana football game or a large campus event like the Forester's Ball can often be frustrating for residents in the University area, when they find trash littering their yards and alleys.

Sunday Sweepers is a new program instituted by the Associated Students of the University of Montana to encourage campus groups to help clean up adjoining neighborhoods on the Sunday after a big campus event.

ASUM President Zach Brown says it's one more way University students are trying to be good neighbors in the community.

ASUM will also help to fund the clean-up activities.

Watch for the clean-up crews starting later in October near the University campus.
