You may be surprised to find that some everyday products you keep in your house could be used to keep bugs away. I am always looking for ways to save money, and not spending money on needless bug sprays is one way to do it. These bug repellents are also very simple to make, containing just one or two ingredients.

Thanks to the help of Pinterest, I have compiled a list of bug-offs for you. The sprays range from those to use at your outdoor parties, to campouts and even around your house.

Mosquitos - Listerine mouth wash sprayed on the chair and floor around you will keep those little blood suckers at bay.

Flies - A 50/50 mix of Pine Sol and water wiped on outdoor tables and chairs will keep those germ carrying pests off of your food and furniture.

Bugs in Your Home - Spray rubbing alcohol around the edges of your house to keep all those pesky little critters from moving in.

Fleas and mosquitos - Pour peppermint oil into a spray bottle and spray it on your skin. This is also safe for animals too.

Mosquitos and bugs - When you’re out camping this summer, throw a small amount of sage on your fire and it will aid in keeping those creepy crawlies away.
