Are You Getting a Cheater Pint of Beer?

Forget Obamacare, federal budgets and partial government shutdowns. This is the kind of thing we need our lawmakers to really focus on! According to Associated Press, Michigan lawmakers want to make sure a pint of beer is really a pint of beer. A bill amending the Liquor Control Act would require each pint of beer to have at least 16 ounces. Apparently the word on the street is some Michigan tavern owners may be using so-callled cheater pints. Those are glasses that have thick bottoms, so they really only hold 12 to 14 ounces of brew. The great state of Michigan's legislature obviously has the interest of the common American at heart. I say we move them all to Washington D.C. and send the current bunch that's in there to go wash beer glasses at a neighborhood pub!  DB
