With all the hardships and frustrations these past six weeks of a hot, dry, fire-ravaged summer, maybe there is finally some relief.

I doubt anyone will complain if it does carry into a Montana Grizzly football Saturday, but it looks like the best chance for rain and cooler temperatures is going to bless western Montana on Thursday and Friday. We have a 40 percent chance of some showers developing by Wednesday evening, with rain more likely by Thursday into Friday, to the tune of 80 percent. That in itself will be an adjustment, but then we factor daytime highs in the low 60s Thursday and upper 50s Friday! And for football Saturday, we are expecting some sunshine to return with highs of around 65.

What will you be doing to celebrate? Besides breathe, I mean.
