Any of Your Favorites on Video Game Hall of Fame List?

First, yes there is a Video Game Hall of Fame. It's part of the Strong Museum in Rochester, New York. And you nostalgia buffs will no doubt recognize at least a few of these nominees for the Class of 2016.

The first Hall of Fame class last year featured Pac-Man, Tetris, Pong, Doom, World of Warcraft and Super Mario Bros. Man, I wore out the Pong game during slow hours when I was actually supposed to be making pizzas at Shakey's! And it's tough to argue with the group that is up for the honor this year. The list includes Sonic the Hedgehog, Space Invaders, John Madden Football, Legend of Zelda, Grand Theft Auto 3, Elite, Final Fantasy, The Oregon Trail, Pokemon Red and Green and Tomb Raider.

Good luck to all the nominees and if any of this is making you long for a summer vacation in Rochester, the winners will be announced May 5.   DB
