It was a game that featured many players who probably won't get lots of playing time the rest of the season. But one notable exception could be true freshmen kicker Ben Worst, who was named Big Sky Conference Football special teams player of the week for his efforts in the lopsided 47-14 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State. In a part of the Montana Grizzly football game that's been a little shaky, Worst, from Twin Falls, Idaho, made three field goals and two extra points in his first collegiate game. His 50-yarder tied the longest made in the Big Sky this season and also tied for sixth longest in UM history. Ben also connected on two 41-yarders. All three were "no-doubters." Straight and long, nice little right to left

draw (wish my golf swing had that). Congrats to Ben and the Griz. Chop up those Lumberjacks at Northern Arizona this Saturday. Oh, yeah: Montana has moved up to number seven in both the coaches and media polls in this week's FCS rankings. Montana State drops to 10 coaches/11 media after their loss Saturday night at Stephen F. Austin. Go Griz. DB
