Another report of an abandoned deer carcass east of Corvallis in the Bitterroot Valley is being investigated by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. Game warden Justin Singleterry said the 4x4 mule deer buck was found dumped down a steep embankment off W#illow Creek Road. He said the deer was shot and killed, then discarded down the hillside, about a quarter mile past the Willow Creek Road and Willow Creek trailhead intersection. Montana FWP heard about the deer November 7th, but the incident could have happened earlier than that.

Last week, Singleterry asked for public help in the investigation of two mule deer that were shot and abandoned east of Hamilton near the end of Charley's Gulch. His phone is 406-240-9764 or you can call the toll free MT FWP hotline 1-800-TIP-MONT.
