A Proposal Gone Wrong

A flying Dutchman's plan for an unforgettable marriage proposal was literally smashing, when the crane he'd rented to raise himself to his girlfriend's apartment toppled over and smashed into her apartment's roof. Yes it smashed into six apartments in the housing complex were evacuated after the mishap, which left a huge hole in the roof, notes the U.K. Independent. Things got worse when an attempt to right the heavy equipment caused it to fall again into her neighbor's roof, causing further damage. One apartment was rendered unlivable after the accidents, which didn't injure anybody. The unidentified man did have a bit of good news, however: his woman did say yes -- and then the pair jetted off to Paris to celebrate
