A Pretty Sleazy Way to Steal Money

Holy scam artists! This dude may have some major explaining to do to the Man upstairs someday. And it's for sure he looks better in handcuffs than rosaries.

Associated Press tells us that Erwin Mena has been arrested for posing as a priest in the Los Angeles area and went so far as to officiate masses, funerals, confession and a wedding. Then the good Father Mean had the audacity to convince trusting parish members that he had tickets to see Pope Francis during last year's U.S. visit, and sold them for thousands of dollars.

He's facing nearly 30 charges of grand theft and perjury. I don't think hearing his own confession is going to do him much good, do you?     DB
