This morning on the Craig & Al Show we were talking about Loma, MT. It has the distinction of the most extreme temperature change; 103 degrees in 24 hours. It went from -54 to +49 degrees. That was back in mid-January of 1972.  Loma is located in Choteau County, north-east of Ft. Benton.  That’s right out there in the wide open spaces of North Central Montana.  I’ve toured some of that area but I’ve never had the pleasure of visiting Loma. A good friend of mine Gene Colling, videographer extraordinaire, has and shot a sort travelogue. Makes me want to pay the little burg a visit, and I’ll be taking my boat and fishing gear.  Oh, and it will be in June or July.
