The people were not letting the smoke stop their enjoyment of the Ravalli County Fair Parade.

Wednesday, August 30, the entries paraded down Hamilton's Main Street as crowds lined the route, applauding the imaginative floats, the marching band, the State Champion Bitterroot Mountettes drill team and even some politicians.

The parade, organized by the Bitterroot Leadership class of the Bitterroot Chamber of Commerce kepting coming, lasting almost an hour and half in the smoky conditions that seemed to clear a little during the event.

The four-day exposition that is the Ravalli County Fair is now underway through Saturday, with rodeo action every night.
