A Dumb Thief’s Exposed Red Briefs

If this guy is dumb enough to steal things again, he might want to try them on once he's clearly out of sight. Or at the very least wear less conspicuous underwear. Here's how Associated Press tells us the story went down:

Taykim Ross of Hempstead NY, reportedly broke into an apartment and stole $200 cash, some electronics and a pair of blue Nike Air Jordan sneakers. Now, we all know how excited we get to try on our new clothes, right? So Taykim stops in the apartment complex's back yard to try on the sneakers. As he bends over, he exposes his red boxer shorts.

A suspicious neighbor takes a photo and submits it to police after he hears about the burglary. Later an officer notices someone taking out their trash in his mirror. What stood out were the red boxers when he bends over. Ross is apprehended on suspicion of burglary. The photo is checked and DING DING DING! We have a match.
