A Bad Year to Fear Friday the 13th

Fear of the number 13 is known as triskaidekaphobia. I feared my spell check would go bonkers.

But if you fear Friday the 13th, well, 2015 is not your year, as we observe the first of three!

Of course every year has at least one Friday the 13th, But this year we're facing that bad boy today (February 13), in March and in November. Associated Press sent us a delightful anecdote to help suppress those fears. Wake Forest University Professor Eric Carlson says he once led a group that would gather and encourage people to do "unlucky" things every Friday the 13th. As the professor put it, "It's unlucky to be superstitious." :-)

Oh, by the way, we won't be cursed with another Friday the 13th triple until 2026.
