It is an absolute pleasure writing things about my wife Savannah, and the most important thing in my life, my marriage. As most of you know I met my wife 11 years ago in a radio class at Green River Community College in Auburn, WA. I was working as a host of a morning show with my buddies, and in walked the most beautiful woman. After a few weeks she began interning on the show and the rest is history.

We have been together through so much already in our 11+ years together, we have been through tragic losses, and extreme celebrations. But one thing I can always count on is my wife standing by my side. I can think back to 2008 in particular when I was laid-off by a radio company in Helena, MT. We packed up and moved home in the middle of winter, and she did nothing but support me the whole way.

We have vacationed to Mexico together three times, we have visited her childhood home in Olathe, KS, every opportunity we have to travel we try to seize the adventure. Growing up, you hope to find that forever love, and the one partner you're supposed to grow old with. And I am sure that I have found that with my loving wife.

There are so many people that have been in a longer marriage than ours, but I know ours will withstand the test of time. The one bit of advice that has helped us stay strong together is telling and showing the other one how much we love and appreciate them. It's easy to get lost in the daily grind, don't forget to show your significant other how much you appreciate them.

When I was younger, I got to travel to California to celebrate my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. My hope is that one day Savannah and I will get there. As long as we stay healthy I truly think we will. Happy Anniversary Savannah!
