The Missoula municipal election ballots were sent out to mail boxes weeks ago, but time is running out for voters to get them sent back in. If you forgot to check the mail, or have simply been waiting to cast your vote, there are a few

Since this is Missoula's first go at a mail-in only election for a municipal ballot, it's important to remember that the polls will not be open on Election Day, Tuesday November 5. However, mailing ballots at this point is probably a bad idea, according to Chief deputy for the Missoula County Elections Office Rebecca Connors.

"It's really cutting it close for mail return time because ballots are due by 8 p.m. on Election Day," Connors said. "Postmark does not apply for mail ballot elections or any elections. So it's really important to, at this point in time, be able to deliver those ballots in person. The drop off locations are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and they will each be manned by election judges."

There are nine different drop-off locations in Missoula, all of which are located at traditional polling locations.They are as follows:
